After studies as a scholarship student with Oleh Krysa at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, he moved to Germany under private mentorship, pursuing his violin studies both there and in Italy. In addition to taking honors at a variety of music competitions, Christer has appeared on CBC radio and has made numerous television appearances and recordings. He has also enjoyed several appearances as soloist with orchestras performing to critical acclaim.
